Hisense has been showing off new kitchen, living areas and home ecosystem appliances at CES 2024 has today announced they will be bringing them to Australia this year. These new products will be integrated with its new 2024 TV and Laser range of products to enable smart home control on-screen.
ConnectLife will now be available in Australia using Hisense’s own operating system, VIDAA, bringing a new level of integration across their 2024 TV range. The ultimate goal for Hisense is to enable you to manage your homes entire smart home ecosystem from your Hisense TV. Hisense are committed to the Matter platform allowing for seamless connectivity to your smart home products and will bring their own Matter-certified devices to Australia in the future.
The lineup of new ConnectLife-enabled products coming to our shores includes fridges, dishwashers and laundry appliances with more detail on models and pricing mid-year.
“Since the introduction of ConnectLife in Australia , we have seen our customers enjoy an array of benefits from smart home integration for compatible Hisense fridges, washer/dryers, air conditioning systems and dishwashers, as well as better energy and water management that can help save household spending on utilities bills. In 2024, we will be extending the opportunity for integrated experiences with a broader range of ConnectLife features including our new TV range. We look forward to delivering a true connected home experience, designed to enhance the lives of our customers and positively impact the environment around them,” said Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing, Hisense ANZ.
At CES 2024 Hisense also showed off their concept ProChef@Home experience, how they envisage the future of cooking and whole home automation. It is designed to improve the customer’s approach to meal prep to deliver convenience and precision. It does this by turning your favourite TV content into cooking inspiration thanks to cooking content viewed from your VIDAA-powered smart TV. You would then save your favourite recipes on the TV and be able to view them from your connection Hisense appliances and smart home devices.
“We see a future for Hisense customers experiencing the very best in connected devices where each product becomes more than the sum of its parts and truly delivers an intuitive, convenient and unified experience,” concluded Lui.
