Samsung has today announced new Odyssey OLED gaming monitors, set to make their debut at CES 2024 next week.

The new models include the 49-inch ultrawide curved G9, the flat 32-inch G8 and the 37-inch flat G6. All three new monitors include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub and a DisplayPort 1.4 input along with VESA mount compatibility and a stand that is height, tilt swivel and pivot adjustable.

The OLED Odyssey G9 includes a DQHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution in a 32:9 aspect ratio offers Multi Control to provide “seamless device connectivity” for multi-device connections between the Samsung monitor and other Samsung devices including smartphones and tablets using their mouse and keyboard.

The G9 also includes a Samsung SmartThings Hub to connect to various IoT devices compatible with Matter and the HCA. The G9 is also an all-in-one entertainment hub thanks to the inclusion of the Samsung Smart TV platform and the Samsung Gaming Hub.

The Odyssey OLED G8 arrives with a 4K UHD (3,840×2,160) resolution and in a 16:9 aspect ratio.  It includes Multi Control, the SmartThings Hub and the all-in-one entertainment hub just as the G9 does.  Both the G8 and G9 monitors have a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GTG response time

The Odyssey OLED G6 is also a flat monitor in a 16:9 aspect ratio but this smaller 27-inch display incorporates a QHD (2,560×1,440) resolution, a 360Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time.
