Samsung have announced the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in San Jose, California later this month.
The event will take place at 5am on January 18th AEDT here in Australia, where Samsung will show the latest ‘premium Galaxy innovations’ ostensibly in the form of the Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy S24 series, which will include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra, will have an AI focus, with the teaser showing ‘Galaxy AI is coming’.
Samsung have been rumoured to be working on a generative AI named ‘Gauss’, which is expected to offer a number of features including Translating and creating documents, Camera improvements, summarising documents and more.
The new devices are expected to be available to pre-order immediately after the announcement, with the Samsung Australia site offering a $200 eVoucher for anyone pre-registering their interest. The small print on the site shows the offer will be available until midnight on February 6th, which could indicate the phones going on general sale on Feb 7th.
