Motorola unveils new budget friendly Moto G55 5G and Moto G75 Buds Edition

Motorola is expanding their Moto G series today, announcing the new moto g55 5G and Moto g75 Buds Edition, bringing new features their budget friendly line of phones. 

The moto g55 5G offers a large display and 5G connectivity, while the moto g75 Buds Edition offers a durable MIL-Spec certified, and water resistant device with hi-res audio to complement the  Starlight Blue moto buds included in the box. 

Moto g55 5G

The Moto g55 5G brings a lot of the DNA of Motorola’s G-series handsets, with great specs, including Cinema worthy screen and sound says Motorola, and a great price – which starts at $299. 

The phone includes a large 6.5” display which has a 120Hz refresh rate, with stereo speakers that include Dolby Atmos support for a great entertainment system. The phone runs a Mediatek processor with 128GB of on-board storage (with microSD card) and 4GB of RAM which can be boosted with their RAM Boost to 8GB – and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 30W TurboPower charging. 

Of course there’s a decent camera system on-board, with a 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor to complement it. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera is housed in the notch in the display 

The moto g55 5G is available from today in a vegan leather finish in Forest Grey, Smokey Green, and Twilight Purple. 

You can get your hands on the moto G55 at Harvey Norman, OfficeWorks, Big W, The Good Guys, BingLee, MobileCiti, Amazon, JB HiFi (instore and online), motorola.com.au, and coming soon with Optus for RRP $299.

Moto G75 Buds Edition

For the audio lovers out there, the moto g75 Buds edition offers a device that not only includes a stylish phone that can keep up with you, no matter where you go. 

Featuring military grade certification and IP68 dust/water resistance and a big 5,000mAh battery, the moto g75 Buds Edition is ready to rock, anywhere, anytime. 

Starting with the brilliant 6.8” Full HD+ display with Display Colour Boost and stereo speakers with support for multidimensional Dolby Atmos sound, the moto G75 buds edition really is ready to party. 

There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon® 6 Gen 3 Mobile processor on-board with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage which can be expanded with microSD card.

There’s a 50MP main sensor which has Optical Image Stabilisation, as well as an 8MP Ultrawide (which doubles as a macrovision camera) sensor on the rear, with a 16MP selfie camera on the front. 

Motorola is releasing the phone in Succulent Green, and Aqua Blue with a Vegan Leather finish on the rear, and with a matte plastic rear in Charcoal Grey. 

The moto g75 5G moto buds edition will arrive in Australia on the 14th of November for 9.  You’ll be able to check it out at JB HiFi (online only), Harvey Norman, OfficeWorks, Big W, The Good Guys, BingLee, MobileCiti, on Amazon and motorola.com.au for RRP 9.
