In addition to the updated iPad Air with M3 which was announced overnight, Apple also dropped a small update to the entry level $599 iPad.
Interestingly, this is the first Apple product released since Apple Intelligence became available that does not support Apple Intelligence.

Oh and one other thing, no more Nano SIM options – the new 11th Generation iPad is eSIM only folks.
Still comes in Blue, Pink, Yellow and Silver and goes on Sale March 12 – you can pre-order now.
users will see up to a 50 per cent improvement in overall performance,5 and A16 makes the updated iPad up to 6x faster than the best-selling Android tablet.6
