For room filling sound people are no longer turning to simple little Bluetooth speakers – instead the booming market of “party speakers” is the option for big sound, and great party entertainment and today Samsung has introduced its new Sound Tower range of party speakers.
“The new Sound Tower sets a new standard in how consumers experience entertainment in both indoor and outdoor settings,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “With customisable lighting effects and an upgraded form factor that produces fully encompassing sound, it underscores Samsung’s commitment to providing innovative audio solutions for the diverse lifestyles of customers.”
Not just a pretty face, the Sound Tower range uses a technology Samsung calls Waveguide across it’s dual dome tweeters, ensuring a wider more even sound stage performance. That should allow for a clear treble performance, while dual woofers offer a strong and deep bass performance.
A nifty feature is a replaceable battery so you can keep the party going with no interruption too.
Critically in this market, you can connect multiple units together using Auracast Group Play or pair just two together for left and right channel audio split.
And no party speaker is complete without a lighting system to bring the party to life. Samsung Sound Tower lights can be configured with the Samsung Sound Tower App with five mood presets and six dynamic lighting patterns.
The lighting is all around the speaker too – offering a 360 degree effect:
And it doesn’t end there, there are built in DJ and Karaoke Modes as well as guitar input so it’s ready for anything.
There will be two models:
You’ll have to wait though, Samsung’s Sound Tower won’t be in Australia until some time in 2026.
