LG will launch an addition to their lifestyle TV line-up, with the new canvas style LG Gallery TV bringing an art-like viewing experience and displaying curated artworks, generative AI and more.

The LG Gallery TV will come in 55” and 65” sizes with a specialised screen that caters to displaying artwork with reduced glare and minimal reflections. The TV can also automatically adjust picture quality as the light in the room changes during the day to maintain a set level.

The TV includes a Gallery mode developed with museum curators that optimises colour and brightness to display original masterpieces included in the LG Gallery+ service. 

The service includes more than 4,500 pieces of content. LG says the Gallery TV will also offer generative AI to display, as well as photos from their own library – with the Gallery+ also letting you play background music from your own collection via bluetooth, or a library of choices.

The TV is designed for ‘interior-conscious consumers’, blending into the home with a slim, flush-mount design, with LG also offering customisable magnetic frames to further personalise it to your home.

The display is powered by LG MiniLED technology with their α (Alpha) 7 AI Processor powering the system and AI Sound Pro audio on board offering a virtual 9.1.2ch surround experience.

No pricing or release dates have been announced for the LG Gallery TV as yet, but we’re keen to check it out at CES where it will be on display.
