Lenovo has revealed a new lineup of powerful new gaming devices under its Legion gaming banner at CES 2026 including a brand new Legion Go.

The products coming to market that were announced are the Legion Go SteamOS (8.8”, 2), Legion 7a (16”, 11), Legion 5i (15”, 11), Legion 5a (15”, 11) AMD Ryzen AI 400/200, LOQ 15AHP11 and the LOQ 15IPH11.

Sounds like a mouthful but it is a portable gaming device and several laptops.  Also revealed was a rollable concept device that looks impressive and will make a big splash should it ever make it to market.

The Legion Go, Powered by SteamOS (8.8”, 2)

The new Legion Go, Powered by SteamOS (8.8”, 2) is more powerful than the previous generations of SteamOS-sporting Legion Go’s from Lenovo.  It promises to deliver desktop-class performance but in a portable form factor, running the smooth and gaming-centric SteamOS.

As you would expect from such a powerful device, the specs are impressive for a handheld.  It is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage.  If that isn’t enough storage for you and your games, you can extend it a further 2TB using the microSD port.

The 8.8 inch OLED display will show off the most vivid AAA games as they were meant to be, with SteamOS offering a console-like experience and plug and play gaming.  The full Steam Store is available for sull access to the newest titles.  

It is unclear if or when this will land in Australia but you can be sure I’ll be at the front of the line to test it out and purchase when it arrives.

The Legion 7a (16”, 11) laptop

The new Legion 7a (16”, 11) is a new slim gaming laptop built not just for gamers but also streamers and creators.  It is lighter and thinner than its predecessor but is still a powerhouse thanks to the new Ryzen AI 400 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs delivering a total of 125W TDP powering it.

The AI-optimised performance offers the ability to complete complex computing tasks along with high-end gaming with ease.  Don’t be afraid to push this laptop though as it features Legion Coldfront to keep the heat in control while the laptop is under heavy loads.

Topping it all off is a vivid OLED display making all games look as vibrant and smooth as they are designed to be.

The Legion 5i (15”, 11) and Legion 5a (15”, 11)

The Legion 5 series of laptops is Lenovo’s jack of all trades laptop, for gaming, streaming, creating and in fact for any project.  Lighter, thinner and more portable than before, the laptops are available with either AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors in the Legion 5a (15”, 11) or Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors in the Legion 5i (15”, 11).  Both models house NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs and support Lenovo AI Engine+.  

Also packing OLED displays and Legion Coldfront thermal cooling you can be sure to get the most out of every project you throw at these laptops.

The Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 and Lenovo LOQ 15IPH11

The two newest offerings from Lenovo in the LOQ series are designed specifically with gamers with a budget in mind.  Available with either AMD Ryzen 200 Series processors or Intel Core Ultra processors, the two new devices feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-Series Laptop GPUs.

Cooling is performed by Lenovo’s Hyperchamber Cooling technology to optimise airflow in the laptop while also reducing fan noise.

At this stage only US pricing and availability is known, with Australian details soon to follow.  For those who are interested though, the US details are:

  • The Legion Go, Powered by SteamOS (8.8”, 2) is estimated to start at $1,1999 USD with expected availability from June 2026.
  • The Legion 7a (16”, 11) is estimated to start at $1,999 USD with expected availability from April 2026.
  • The Legion 5i (15”, 11) is estimated to start at $1,549 USD with expected availability from April 2026.
  • The Legion 5a (15”, 11) with AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processor is estimated to start at $1,499 USD with expected availability from April 2026.
  • The Legion 5a (15”, 11) with AMD Ryzen 200 Series processor is estimated to start at $1,299 USD with expected availability from April 2026.
  • The Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 is estimated to start at $1,149 USD with expected availability from April 2026.
  • The Lenovo LOQ 15IPH11 will be available only in select markets.
