Gaming lifestyle brand Razer has launched their new esports-focused Viper V4 Pro gaming mouse and Gigantus V2 Pro soft gaming mouse mat.
The Viper V4 Pro builds on the dominance of the V3 Pro – which is rated as the number 1 mouse used by eSports pros, and adopts 8KHz polling which Razer introduced on the DeathAdder V4 last year. The mouse supports the faster 8000Hz polling across both wired and wireless connections for ultra-fast response time, which Razer says is down to 0.204 ms for clicks and 0.36 ms for motion.
Thanks to these improvements, the Razer Viper V4 Pro is 2.5 times faster in motion latency, with up to 180 hours of battery life.
The accuracy is also improved, with support for 50K DPI, at 930 Inches Per Second (IPS) at 90G to minimise latency.

The Razer VIper V4 Pro also introduces an optical scroll wheel which is 3.3 times more reliable than traditional mechanical scroll wheels, as well as utilising Gen4 optical switches with zero debounce delay and eliminates the ‘double-click’ issues that come with mechanical switches.
The mouse will come in black (49g) or White (50g), both weighing in around 9% lighter than the Viper V3 Pro.
As well as introducing their new esports gaming mouse, Razer is also launching the Gigantus V2 Pro gaming mouse pad.
The mouse pad is available as one of five colour-coded options, differentiated by speed, including :
- Max Control – Ultra-high friction for flick precision.
- Control – High friction for consistent micro-adjustments.
- Balance – Medium friction for a hybrid glide.
- Speed – Low friction for fast swipes.
- Max Speed – Ultra-low friction for lightning-quick movements.

You can grab the Razer Viper V4 Pro in black and white for $279.95 AUD whilst the Gigantus V2 Pro (Large) is available for $89.95 with both available to purchase now from Razer.com
