When its released in November this year it will have been 4811 days since the last Grand Theft Auto, safe to say Grand Theft Auto VI is the most anticipated game release in history – and next week – pre-orders begin.
Of course, it should already be out. Even the trailer released over a year ago suggests an on sale date that has already passed – but perhaps the believers can assume that after pre-orders kick off, there’s no turning back!
Fans have turned this games long winded release period into memes non stop with every major event or moment in history tagged “this, before we got Grand Theft Auto VI” or similar.
Even the YouTube comments on the trailer one year ago are funny.
Whatever the case, it does look like it will have been worth the wait. Pre-orders start June 25, next Thursday, and just those are set to break records for gaming and entertainment.
For those who don’t follow GTA, let me put it this way, this release will be bigger than anything Taylor Swift has done:)
And then, in November, 13 years later, the next edition of GTA will come.
