From Whoop to Google and Amazfit, headless fitness trackers are becoming super popular and Garmin have joined in with the new Cirqa Smart Band.

Offering up to 10-day battery life, the Garmin Cirqa has a minimalist design with a simple design featuring a single button on the side and a simple fabric band that can be worn around the wrist or as an armband depending on your comfort and the activity.

Susan Lyman, Garmin Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing said

“ We purposefully created CIRQA Smart Band for those who are passionate about staying healthy and active. With its discreet design and trusted health and fitness tracking tools Garmin is known for, this smart band complements our lineup of popular smartwatches and wellness monitors, allowing users to transition smoothly between their Garmin devices throughout the day. Plus, with no subscription required, CIRQA Smart Band helps you stay on top of your health and fitness goals—and makes a thoughtful gift for others who want to do the same.”

The band provides around-the-clock health and fitness monitoring, from sleep tracking to automatically detecting and recording a variety of activities. You can also manually start workouts, tapping on the button to cycle through your favourites.

Activities and favourites can be set in the Garmin Connect  app, available for both Android and iOS, as well as your data including wrist-based heart rate, Body Battery energy monitoring, Pulse Ox, stress, skin temperature and more.

The band does include Connected GPS support when paired with your device, piggy backing off the signal for outdoor walks, runs, rides and more. It also lets you share your position with friends or family so they can follow along with you in real-time – great for races and events.

The band is available to pre-order now in Australia in a range of colours including Mauve, French Gray, Captain Blue, and Black for $299, with devices shipping in 3–5 weeks.
