Bose has unveiled its two new open earbud ranges, the Bose Sport Open Earbuds and Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen), offering even more listening options than before.

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds ($349.95) and Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen) ($449.95) will be available from 1 October, with exclusive MyBose pre-orders opening on 18 September at Bose.com.au.  Public pre-orders will begin on 19 September at Bose.com.au.

Both ranges of earbuds will be available in Black and White Smoke colourways with the Sport Open Earbuds also arriving in a limited-edition Eucalyptus Green and the second-generation Ultra Open Earbuds also available in limited-edition Cherry Chocolate and Olive Green, while a Bose.com.au and JB Hi-Fi exclusive limited Sky Pink will also be available.

Bose has tweaked its OpenAudio technology to deliver a richer, more personal sound experience thanks to a new transducer that delivers precise, clear sound to your ears.  Bose Digital Sound technology is powered by the Bose SoundDesign technology to balance the soundstage, so you can feel and hear the music while staying aware of your environment.

These open-ear earbuds don’t use bone conduction; instead, they deliver the sound through the air near the ear to produce a broader sound with a pressure-free fit on the earlobe.

Both models feature Bose SpeechClarity, an AI-enhanced voice-isolation technology with one dedicated microphone and one voice-pickup microphone in each earbud that work together to isolate your voice from background noise.

Both models support Bluetooth 5.4, along with SBC and AAC codecs.

Bose Sport Open Earbuds

The new Bose Sport Open Earbuds bring the open ear form factor to a device designed for active, strenuous workouts and movement.  They provide stability, security, comfort and durability while also delivering rich, full sound.

They feature Auto Volume to automatically adjust your music’s loudness as environmental noise changes, and an IP54 sweat, water and dust resistance rating.

The charging case supports wireless charging and features a translucent, textured lid.  With up to seven hours of playback in each earbud, the case can add another 22 hours of charge.

Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen)

The new Ultra Open Earbuds improve not just the sound but also call quality, deliver new features and sport a new design with an expanded battery life.

The bass is deeper and louder thanks to a newly engineered driver, while the new Cinema Mode adds depth and immersion to video content and podcasts to produce a theatre-like experience.  The earbuds also support Snapdragon Sound with aptX Adaptive for even greater audio quality.

The redesigned charging case now supports wireless charging and adds 19.5 hours to each earbud’s nine hours of playback.
