We’re in what seems like the final stretch to the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S consoles, with the November 19th launch date now only a few weeks away. Prepping for launch can get serious soon, with pre-load starting on November 10th.

Rockstar has advised that gamers will be able to load the game from Tuesday, November 10, with PS5 gamers able to start downloading at midnight local time in your respective time zone, while XBOX Series X|S owners can begin pre-loading at 12 a.m. GMT – that’s 11 hours later at 11:00 am AEDT.

Any gamers who purchased a “physical” copy will be able to pre-load their ‘code-in-box’ versions for both consoles beginning November 12.

Rockstar has announced the game is big. 212 GB depending on your device, so you’ll probably want to have a bit of a clean out before you start the download.

The Rockstar Support site has instructions on how to set up your Playstation 5, or Xbox Series X|S console to automatically download the game, or you can head to the respective Sony or Microsoft wiki’s for more info.

As a throw-away, Rockstar have announced you’ll be able to download an official printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art poster and map of Leonida as a free digital download from November 19th. The download will be available from the official site, and you can also order a double-sided physical version of the for $0.99USD from the Rockstar Store soon after launch – though at this stage I’d say wait to see how much the shipping is from the US before you jump in to order.
