Vodafone adds 34 European countries to its $5 international roaming deal – * Kazakhstan not included

Vodafone’s $5 per day roaming deal in the UK, USA and New Zealand is a great deal but very limited in terms of travel destinations.  As of next week things take a big leap forward with 34 European countries added to the places where you can roam like you’re at home with Vodafone Red plans.

Vodafone lists this as “UK, USA, New Zealand and Europe” – but it does only cover 34 countries.

For those counting, it appears from our quick check that means the following countries are excluded at the moment:

Not a huge issue, the extra 34 countries really makes a different and will mean some great value for travellers around Europe.

The $5 a day price allows you to use your normal data allowance while roaming, along with unlimited calls and texts locally and back home to Australia.
