The entry level smartphone market has grown not just in number but also in features in recent years. As such the photography chops of many of these phones is now well past acceptable and heading towards amazing — especially for the price.
OPPO have been a big player in this entry level market segment in recent years and today have expanded their offering with the A15, packing some incredible specs as you would expect from OPPO.
OPPO tout the camera on the A15 as a smartphone camera that will “lift[s] your photography game” and it does so with an AI-enabled triple rear camera setup. The rear camera module houses a 13MPmain lens, a 2P macro lens and a 2MP depth lens with each lens having a specific function to deliver an overall rounded camera experience. The 5MP front-facing camera is inset in a waterdrop notch.
Other notable specs include a large 6.5-inch 720p LCD display with a massive 4,230mAh battery that promises well over a day of usage. The 32GB of onboard storage can be expanded to over 256GB via the microSD slot and the 3GB of RAM will allow for multiple apps to be open at once without any issues.
With an inclusion of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-sim capabilities, 3.5mm headphone jack, AI face unlock and a 10W charger the OPPO A15 is a bargain at just $239. It is available from tomorrow, January 28, in Mystery Blue and Dynamic Black at JB Hi-Fi, Woolworths, Mobileciti, Amazon, The Good Guys (online) and OfficeWorks.
If you are after a decent smartphone that will not break the bank then the OPPO A15 looks to be one that you should consider.
