Like it or not kids are tech users these days and unless you love the sound of Dora the Explorer and random kids games you’ll want them to have headphones. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of headphones for kids but JBL has them covered with their new JR310BT and JR310 announced today.
Kids headphones need to be light and not go so loud as to damage their sensitive hearing. Weighing just 105 grams, the ultra-portable JR310 (and BT) headphones are designed to never exceed 85dB making them safe for your kids. At the same time they still produce the quality sound that JBL is known for.
“We have made some improvements on the Junior range around fast charging so kids have their headphones whenever they need them. And with the noise limiting technology, parents can be rest assured their ears are protected. In a range of great colours, we are proud to introduce great JBL sound to little ones as well” says Marcus Fry, General Manager at Harman ANZ.
The colourful headphones have soft ear cushions and a padded headband to make them comfortable for even the most discerning child. They also fold down to make them easier to carry around and come with a sticker set to allow the child to personalise them to their own liking. Both headphones support a wired connection with a 3.5mm audio jack with the BT version also supporting Bluetooth.
The JBL JR310BT and JR310 are now available for purchase at major retailers and on www.jbl.com.au for $69.95 (although you can find them cheaper with a simple search). Go and grab your kids some great colourful headphones and give your own ears a rest.
