LG have announced that their latest UltraGear OLED gaming monitors are heading to Australia next month, with pre-orders opening later this month.

There are two models on the way, the 45-inch curved 45GR95QE and the flat form factor 27-inch 27GR95QE – both offering what LG says is their fastest gaming monitors yet with an  ultra-fast 240Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and 0.03ms GTG (Grey-to-Grey) response time.

The 45-inch model includes support for up to two PBP (Picture by Picture) and PIP (Picture in Picture) window settings, letting you configure the dual inputs to stack multiple windows vertically or side-by-side so you can perform multiple tasks at the same time.

LG says that a returning feature for both monitors is the UltraGear Remote Control which gives you the ability to ‘turn the monitor on or off, adjust sound, change modes and alter settings’ – a great idea for anyone wanting to double up the monitor for other uses.

The larger 45-inch 45GR95QE offers an extreme 800R curvature, offering an extended field of view to keep everything in easy sight. The 27-inch 27GR95QE panel offers a flat form factor for those who prefer that option.

Both monitors are HDR10 compatible and capable of up to 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and offering 98.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The 45-inch model offers resolution up to WQHD (3,440 x 1,440), while the 27-inch model offers QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution.

The monitors include dual HDMI 2.1 ports and a Display Port (1.4), with three USB 3.0 ports consisting of one upstream for connectivity and two downstream.

Both monitors include adjustable stands, with the ability to adjust height, as well as swivel, tilt and pivot to your ideal comfort level.
