There’s a new player in the robot lawnmower space, and it goes by the name of Aiper Horizon U1 Cordless Robotic Lawn Mower and is set to land in Australia in 2024. Aiper, known for the robotic pool cleaners, is stepping into the world of robotic lawnmowers with the Horizon U1, sporting a sleek design, almost like the Mars Rover landed in your backyard.
What sets the Horizon U1 from other robotic lawn mowers is the elimination of those annoying boundary wires. Through a combination of their app, RTK technology, visual sensors, and an integrated Inertial Navigation System (INS), the Horizon U1 is able to pinpoint its location in real-time, navigating with centimeter precision.
Not only is robot Lawn mower smart, its animal friendly too. Thanks to its AI-powered animal recognition tech, the Horizon U1 can gauge the distance between itself and your family pet, effectively navigating around them for their safety. But it doesn’t stop there, the AI is intuitive enough to recognise common backyard items such as trampolines, tennis balls and small animals.
The Aiper Horizon U1 is a sleek, wire-free, animal friendly backyard assistance sure to make your lawn maintenance a breeze.
No specific details on price or release date but we are informed we can expect to see the Horizon U1 in Australia sometime this year.
