Razer has arrived at CES 2025 in Las Vegas this year with a gaming laptop that is about to set the world on fire with its raw power and performance.
The Razer Blade 16 arrives sporting the all-new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series laptop GPUs and, for the first time ever, AMD Ryzen AI 9 processors to deliver absolute raw power alongside maximum AI performance.

The new Blade 16 is designed to be a portable gaming laptop. It is just 0.59 inches at its thinnest and has an ultra-thin profile, which is not what we expect from a gaming laptop. To achieve the thin profile, Razer has had to rejig the entire cooling system, including a new thermal hood and a new vapor chamber cooling system with a dual-fan design to cool the Blade while keeping it quiet while gaming.
This new cooling system covers 57% of the motherboard’s surface area and features 0.05mm exhaust fins, which provide better heat dissipation in the ultra-thin profile.
Powering the laptop is a GPU of up to and including the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, with 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, capable of pushing up to 155W of maximum graphics power.





This new NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs provide a massive amount of AI horsepower enabling new experiences and improved graphics fidelity. You can also access the NVIDIA NIM microservices which are AI models that let enthusiasts and developers build AI assistants, agents and more.
For the first time, the Razer Blade 16 will arrive with an AMD Ryzen processor, up to the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores/ 24 threads. This chipset features an NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS, giving users access to Copilot+ experiences including image creation tools with Cocreator. The AMD CPU is paired with 8,000MHz LPDDR5X memory to keep the laptop running fast and efficiently.

The Blade 16’s display is a QHD+ 240Hz OLED display with an impressive 0.2ms response time and impressive colour profiles, from Rec .709 to Adobe RGB to DCI-P3. The bezels surrounding the vibrant display are just 4.7mm, making the experience incredibly immersive.
The other piece of the gaming puzzle is the keyboard. The new keys on the Blade 16 feature a deep 1.5mm travel distance and 63 grams of actuation force for a more responsive typing experience. Five macro keys are also included. They are pre-assigned to various Razer functions, but they can be customised to the users’ needs. A keyboard wouldn’t be complete in 2025 without a Copilot+ key, so there is one of those too.

But wait, there’s more….
The speakers in the Blade 16 have been upgraded to a 6-speaker audio system, tuned by the folks at THXess to pre-tuned equaliser profiles. Of course, you can create your own equaliser profiles to fine-tune the experience to your ears.
Local pricing and availability of the Razer Blade 16 (2025) have yet to be announced, but we will update you when they are available. A laptop this powerful must be considered by all serious gamers looking for a laptop to use on the go.
