PC maker Dell announced their intention to revamp their laptop lineup at CES in January, and their newest laptops, aimed at replacing the old premium XPS series laptops have arrived in the form of the Dell Premium 14 and Dell Premium 16.
The two laptops are both powered by Intel Core Ultra 200 H series processors, with Dell Premium 16 using the Core Ultra 9, while the Dell Premium 14 uses the Core Ultra 7, with both offering up to 33% faster speeds than previous generations, including improved multi-threading.
Both laptops will include the signature InfinityEdge bezels, with both including slightly larger displays than the XPS models they replace. The Dell Premium 14 has a 14.5” display, with the Dell Premium 16 includes a 16.3” panel, with both models including options for OLED panel upgrades.
The display will be powered by up to RTX 50xx series GPUS on the Dell Premium 16, while the Dell Premium 14 will use the RTX 4050 GPU, giving you additional grunt for rendering, or even relaxing with some games in your down time.
The laptops will be available in two colour options: Graphite and Platinum.
In terms of availability, the Dell Premium 14 looks like it’s ready for config on the Dell website, with prices starting at $2,798.40, while the Dell Premium 16 hasn’t been listed on their Australian website, it’s apparently available in the US and Canada, with prices starting at $2,699 USD (~$4,134 AUD).
