There are dozens of dash cams on the market but very few offer 4K resolution. Uniden has now added to its iGO range the Cam 85R. It can capture forward action at 3840 x 2160p and rear footage in full HD via a 160 degrees ultra-wide viewing angle. Basically, this allows drivers to capture incidents 360 degrees right around the car.
The iGO Cam 85R is powered by a supercapacitor, this allows for a longer charge and makes the camera more resilient to high temperatures than traditional lithium-ion batteries, perfect for Australian conditions.
The cameras have in-built Wi-Fi so users can quickly upload footage to their smart phone using the Uniden iGO 85R app. Perfect for Dash Cams Australia! GPS Geotagging and impact and motion detection technology provides extra detailed data, while the Wide Dynamic Range records with more clarity both night and day.

Additionally, Uniden has released the portable UPP1000 jump start kit. This is perfect for four-wheel drive vehicles and is capable of jump starting petrol engines up to seven times and diesel units five times
You can also use the jump start kit as a powerbank for smart phones and tablets via its USB port. The kit has an IP67 waterproof rating and an LED flashlight. Both products will be available in over the June and July period.
