Hyundai are having some raging success globally with their N series sports versions and the Veloster N is the latest to get a boost.
Sadly not available in Australia, the Veloster N is getting an all new “8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission) – the good news is that transmission will be coming to Australia in the i30 N and i30 Fastback N models from early 2021.

For perspective, that little DCT box shoots the Veloster N from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds. Boom.
Electronic actuators power the double clutch to give the most fuel efficiency, comfort and – fun.
“Veloster N demonstrates Hyundai’s approach to high-performance cars. By equipping Veloster N with N DCT, drivers get performance and convenience at the same time,” said Thomas Schemera, Head of Product Division at Hyundai Motor. “Anyone who wants a fun driving experience will jump at the chance to pilot the new Veloster N – an everyday sports car with racetrack capabilities.”
Don’t discount the hype behind the Hyundai N range, they are pocket rockets.
