Being a creative type of bloke has its own advantages. Like being able to build your own awesome looking ping pong table.
This is exactly what Axel Yberg from Akke did with its Pingtuated Equilibripong table. Made from reclaimed materials and taking more than 400 man hours to complete, the table combines seven different types of wood, reclaimed metal from plumbing pipes and fittings, aircraft cable and some Edison reproduction light bulbs.
Naturally, it’s a one of a kind item, although apparently it is for sale for the bargain price of $US56,000. Maybe when the dollar improves then…
