If running’s your game, then metrics should be your game. While there are plenty of sports watches on the market with bells, whistles and high price tags, the Forerunner 10 from Garmin looks to offer similar functions to the budget-conscious.
For $149, you get a 50m water resistant sports watch that shows time, and distance on screen while jogging, which can be adjusted to show pace and calories burnt. With a virtual pacer to keep things challenging, yet a run/walk mode for unfit blokes like myself just starting out with the whole fitness thing.
Although it comes in three different colours, it’s probably not the most stylish of sports watches to hit the market, but form over function, right?
