These portable storage drives have been well known as “thumb drives” for very good reason – they were about the size of your thumb.  Not any more.  I’ve got USB drives in the shape of keys and many other shapes and forms, and now add to that the super small Sandisk Cruzer Force which is simply tiny!

Sandisk Cruzer Force

It’s hard to innovate in the USB drive space, there is a limited scope for change.  What Sandisk have done with this little beauty is start from the smallest possible position and work out from there.

The Cruzer Force is the same width as your USB port itself and wouldn’t be much more than two and a half centimeters long.

Outside it’s a stylish metal finish with red internals.  Finish it off with a space for your keyring to slide in and this is a great on-the-go storage solution.

It’s available in capacities from 8GB to 32GB from $11.50 to $35 from The Good Guys, Myer, Bing Lee, Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi.
