General Motors have brought along their new Chevrolet Volt to CES 2016. Like the previous (and slow selling in Australia) Volt, the new model continues to be an electric powered vehicle with a petrol ‘back up assist motor’.
General Motors has no plans to produce a right hand drive version of the new Volt so we won’t be seeing this one in Oz.
The little Chev can travel 85 kays on electric power only, 675 km on electric and petrol power or over 1600 km between fill ups when used and charged regularly.
Tech wise, the Volt offers a built-in 4G LTE wifi topped off with Apple car play. Sadly, Aussies just don’t have the appetite.
