McLaren Automotive has joined with a large North American toy company known as Step2 to create a unique new model. Known as the 570S the new sports car targets a new, smaller audience and will allow parents all over to live life just that little bit easier.
Ok so there’s no real scoop here, but how cool is this push sports car for kids. Rather than be a ride on toy it is in fact a possible replacement for a stroller. It has a handy storage area under the seat and a few cup holders to house some coffee or bottles of water. This head turner lets toddlers rest a little all while getting about with an element of pure class.
Step2 pioneered the ‘push car’ so like McLaren knows a thing or two about the task at hand. The design brief for the 570S Push Sports Car was to create something that would closely resemble the real McLaren 570S. It features Step2’s Whisper Wheels™ giving the car a smooth ride, it even has a flat-based steering wheel for excellent feedback and electronic sounds for an exhilarating experience for mini-racers.
The new McLaren 570S Push Sports Car, which is officially licensed by Step2, launches initially in a hot looking “Ventura Orange” and will be available exclusively through Amazon.com in the US around September before rolling out later this year through leading global retailers and Step2.com. Local pricing for Australia and New Zealand is yet to be confirmed, stay tuned!
