I hate robots, let’s make that clear. Not the robots in manufacturing or the robots that help with complicated medical procedures; they’re cool. I’m talking about the silly little things that look like humans or animals and that so often seem pointless. Here at CES though, I have finally met a robot that I really like.
Looking like a small toy, the Varram Pet Fitness robot uses artificial intelligence to keep your pet entertained while you are out.
This little device wheels around the house and interacts with your pet in a bid to reduce separation anxiety and depression. It even fires treats, either randomly or on your demand via an app. Your pet’s activity during the day is mapped and sent to your phone in a graph.
Each Varram Pet Fitness robot can be tailored for cats or dogs.
