The invitations are out, that means it’s official – Apple is ready to announce new things at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino next month.
As has been the case since 2012, Apple’s September event is primarily about iPhone – the next generation, the new look.
For 2019 we have some interesting speculation about the look fo the next iPhone – which we expect to be called the iPhone 11, while the Invitation seems to give away one other thing previously unreported.
In 2018 the iPhone XR debuted in Yellow, Coral, Red, Blue, White and Black.
If the invitation is any guide, we’re going to get a Green and Purple iPhone this year along with Red, Yellow and Blue.
This matches with tips we’d had here at EFTM around a new range of colours for the iPhone XR replacement.
While the event takes place in the USA on September 10th at 10am, in Sydney that is September 11 and 3am – expect news on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max or Pro, iPhone 11R, perhaps Apple Watch, plus also more hype and possible launch dates for Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and more.
