Samsung’s approach to the Smart Watch is all about bringing a traditional watch look to one of the smallest bits of technology that exist today.
The newly announced Galaxy Watch 3 continues that, but perfects it.
One issue with Smart Watches is their size – bulky due to the technology inside.

Not this one, the Galaxy Watch 3 is 14% thinner than the original. 8% smaller and 15% lighter.
Strangely though, the screen is larger!
The smaller overall size means the two sizes available are 41mm and 45mm.
Touch screen surrounded by a rotating bezel is retained, and there are over 40 different complications to allow you to customise the watch face.

But it is the health and wellness focus that sets this apart most.
Galaxy Watch 3 can measure the Blood Oxygen level, which will soon track oxygen saturation over time.
The new Health Monitor app is capable of Blood Pressure Monitoring and ECG readings – those are yet to be approved by Australia’s TGA.

Watch 3 can also detect falls – and send SOS notifications to chosen contacts.
Running, Sleep and VO2 readings – it has it all.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 comes in two sizes and three colours.

The LTE model in 45mm size comes in Black and Silver for $849, while the 41mm comes in Bronze and Silver for $799.
Without 4G the Black and Silver 45mm is $699, the 41mm in Bronze and Silver is the entry level at $649.
