You can now stream Disney+ on Telstra TV

Watching Black Widow on your Telstra TV is now possible, with Telstra expanding their media offerings to include the Disney+ streaming service.

From today customers using all three generations of Telstra TV hardware can access the Disney+ service through the app. Telstra TV customers with a Disney+ subscription will be able to access all the original content, including movies and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star WarsTM, National Geographic and Star.

The Disney+ streaming service currently costs $11.99 monthly or $119.99 annually after Disney added ‘Star’ content back in February. Content categorised under Star on Disney+ includes all the 20th Century Fox titles that Disney acquired after purchasing the studio last year.

You can of course choose to watch all the included content on Disney+ – or you can pay additional fees to get recent releases like Black Widow, however it will also be added to the included content in Disney+ on October 6th.

“The addition of Disney+ and their wonderful content library will be welcome news for new and existing Telstra TV customers who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the streaming home of some of the most recognisable, beloved, and highly anticipated titles in film and TV,” said Nathan Gumley, Home and Entertainment Executive, Telstra.

The Roku-powered Telstra TV currently sells for $216 outright, or can be added to your Telstra bill for $9 per month and offers a vast array of apps including Netflix, Stan, Foxtel, Kayo and more recently music videos from Veno.
