For a big-screen tablet to be priced at $799 you have to assume there’s something you’re missing, but in reality the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is just a tablet with specs to suit a price point – which for most people is likely the most important factor.

The FE edition has the same range of colours available in the main S7 tablet lineup, with Black, Silver, Green and Pink and still comes in either WiFi only or WiFi and 5G models.

In fact, it has a larger screen than the S7 at 12.4 inches, but it’s a bigger device – though the same thickness.

Honestly, a whole lot going for it. An S Pen included in the box – you’re onto a real winner for the family here.

Garry McGregor, Vice President, Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics Australia said, “Samsung is committed to delivering best-in-class mobile experiences across our entire portfolio of mobile devices. Our Galaxy Tab S7 FE will offer Australians an exceptional Android experience, at a very compelling price.

“With students and creative professionals increasingly looking for ways to work on-the-go – whether it’s editing documents or design work – the Galaxy Tab S7 FE provides the tools and features they need to ensure a new idea or creative spark is captured.

“The Galaxy Tab S7 FE has incredible features including a vibrant 12.4-inch display, dual speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and super-fast charging. Building upon our leadership in 5G, we’re now offering 5G connectivity in a mid-tier tablet for the first time which is incredibly exciting as more and more Australians embrace the latest network capabilities.

The full lineup spans only $400 in range, topping out at $1,079:

Given there’s a new iPad Mini launching this week, and it’s much smaller than this – the price point itself makes for an interesting choice for tablet buyers.
