HMD Global has announced a new mid-range handset has hit Australian retailers, with the Nokia G21 now available to purchase.
The mid-range phone is well priced at $299 and is an absolute gold mine for anyone who wants to keep their phone for a long time. HMD Global are offering both a 3-year warranty included as well as a 3-year guarantee for security updates – though only two years for feature updates. In keeping with the 3-year warranty and update promise, HMD Global say the phone can last for up to 3-days on the 5050 mAh battery inside.
There’s a Unisoc processor running the phone, with 4GB RAM/128GB storage included as well as a microSD card slot for storage expansion, with a big 6.5″ LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate on the front which includes a tear-drop notch that contains the 8MP selfie camera.
The phone includes a triple-lens camera system on the rear, with a 50 MP main sensor and 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors, which HMD Global says will allow you to create professional-looking photography.
Launching with Android 12, there are two feature updates guaranteed for the phone, so you’ll be running Android 14 by the time they’re done. HMD Global have pre-loaded Spotify onto the phone, as well as ExpressVPN for added security while surfing which comes with a 30-day free trial.
