After announcing their latest phones at CES earlier this year, TCL have announced that the TCL 30+ and TCL 30 SE, as well as their TCL 305 and TCL 306 handsets are arriving in Australia from Monday, April 18.

It was a big year for TCL last year, introducing 11 new devices including smartphones, wearables and audio said Joseph Corrente, Channel Manager for TCL Communication Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

we’re thrilled to be able to carry this momentum into 2022. Today marks the start of our new product introductions for the year with four new devices, led by the TCL 30+ and 30 SE. These devices reinforce our growing position in the market to deliver incredible display technology alongside an array of other high-quality features at an affordable price. As Australians are enjoying more screen time, including children and young adults, we are focused on developing a hardware solution that helps reduce harmful blue light in screens. We have accomplished this with the TCL 30 Series and this will continue to be a focus for other areas of our range as well moving forward. This is something that is important to me as a father of young children who spend time on screens for both education and leisure, and an area where we feel we can make a difference for all Australians.”

Based on our experience over the last couple of years, we’ve come to expect a lot from the TCL handsets and the TCL 30 series doesn’t disappoint. The TCL 30+, TCL 30 SE and TCL 306 all include TCL’s stunning NXTVision display technology, while the TCL 305 includes a V-notch display.

The phones are running Mediatek processors with 4GB RAM/128GB storage on offer in the TCL 30+ and TCL 30 SE, with the TCL 306 offering 3GB RAM/32GB storage, and the TCL 305 including 2GB RAM/64GB storage.

TCL is also upping the ante on mid-range photography on all four phones announced with a triple rear camera array across the series. There’s a big 50MP sensor included on the TCL 30+ and TCL 30 SE, while the TCL 305 and TCL 306 include a 13MP main sensor. All four phones also include 2MP Depth and 2MP Macro on the back as well.

Selfie aficionados aren’t forgotten with a solid front-facing camera on each model. The TCL 30+ includes a 13MP sensor, the TCL 30 SE has an 8MP sensor and the TCL 305 and TCL 306 include a 5MP sensor.

TCL has included a range of camera features to make the phones pop, including Steady Snap which captures moving objects clearly. There’s also AI scene detection which can detect up to 22 different scenes. Low-light and AI HDR is included for making all your photos pop no matter what the lighting conditions.

All four phones come with a fingerprint scanner, as well as face unlock option for faster access. There’s all-day battery life across the board, with all four phones coming with a 5,000mAh battery.
