The Sony Playstation has become almost synonymous with gaming, and Sony is building on this brand recognition launching their new Inzone branded gaming accessories, featuring three headsets and two monitors. 

The Inzone range includes three headsets and two monitors, though only the headsets have been announced as coming to Australia at this stage. 

Headsets

The headset range features the INZONE H9, INZONE H7 and INZONE H3 headsets,featuring 360 Spatial Sound and leveraging Sony’s expertise as a pioneer of audio-visual technology.

The headsets include comfortable ear cups which will allow you to game for hours, and a boom mic to chat with your friends online. The wireless InZone H9 and Inzone H7 use a USB dongle for low-latency and are also able to work with the PS5. Sony are also including PC software to allow you to customise the spatial audio experience. 

At the high end of the range, the InZone H9, priced at $449.95, offers gamers a wireless headset with Noise Canceling, which includes an ‘Ambient Sound Mode’ to allow you to hear what’s going on around you while gaming. The headset includes up to 32 hours of battery life which includes a quick charge option that gives you up to an hour of use from a 10-minute charge.

Priced at $349.95, the Sony InZone H7 headset is also wireless, though without the noise cancellation. The InZone H7 also includes 360 Spatial Audio and offers up to 42 hours of battery life with the same quick charge option. 

For those wanting a wired headset, the InZone H3 will fit the bill offering a comfortable solution to plug in and start gaming. Priced at $149.95 these headphones also include 360 Spatial audio for precise target detection.

The new range will be available from the end of July, with pre-orders now live on the Sony Australia website.

Monitors


Sony’s Inzone Monitor range includes the M9 and M3 – both 27” in size and offering a cleverly engineered stand that allows for gamers to place their keyboards and mice around the monitor stand to suit their play style.

The Inzone M9 offers a stunning 4K resolution at 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG (Grey-to-Grey) response for brilliant high-end gaming. The monitor also includes support for 95% DCI-P3 and is HDR600 certified.

For those wanting the fastest response and something a little more budget friendly, the Inzone M3 monitor offers a 1080p resolution panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response. 

Both monitors include an in-built Auto KVM Switch (Auto USB Hub Switch), letting users can control up to two PCs from a single keyboard, mouse and headset connected to the monitor.

At this stage, Sony hasn’t announced Australian pricing or even confirmed availability – but we’ll let you know if they do.
