Samsung have announced their latest A-series tablet with the Galaxy Tab A9+ arriving in Australia in November.
Starting from $379 with a large 11” display and Dolby ATMOS speakers, the Galaxy Tab A9+ will offer a more budget friendly option to the premium Galaxy Tab S series tablets launched in July, and the FE editions earlier this month.
There’s both Wifi and 5G models available, with options for either 4GB RAM/64GB storage, or 8GB RAM/128GB of storage, with both tablets offering expandable storage via microSD card.
The Galaxy Tab A9+ 11” display has a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and playback and combined with the Quad speakers, powered by Dolby Atmos promise excellent audio for watching your favourite movies, shows, or playing games on the go, all powered by the 7,040mAh battery.
The tablet comes in only a single colour, Graphite, with a simple Samsung logo etched into the rear.
The tablet runs Android 13 with Samsung’s OneUI, including their KNOX security platform and DeX desktop environment. Samsung has previously advised their Galaxy Tab A devices will receive four years of security updates, though nothing has been announced on which OS updates it will receive.
The new Galaxy Tab A9+ series will launch in Australia next month starting from $379 from Samsung.com/au and retail partners, with Samsung hinting at carrier partnerships to come.
