Reolink is a bit of an upstart when it comes to home security but having recently entered the Australian market are now ramping up their product offering with new product and feature announcements here in Berlin for IFA 2025.
Having launched AI Video search earlier this year, Reolink is now expanding their Ai capabilities – known as “ReoNeura” with Smart detection and video captioning.

Smart Detection allows for cameras to recognise a person or object such as animals, bikes, parcels or vehicles, allowing for a better and more streamlined notification process – eliminating the unwanted or unnecessary notification burn out that happens with modern security systems.
In addition to that, Reolink will introduce “Video Captioning” which analyses captured video and creates a natural language summary so you can understand what’s happening without having to review every moment of the footage.
For business applications, ReoNeura will also allow for Customer Flow Analysis, helping owners track the number of visitors entering and exiting their store and generating a 25 hour heat map to highlight the busy areas of the store.

On the product side the company has announced a new “TrackFlex” floodlight, a “pan-tilt-zoom” (PTZ) camera that has 4K resolution, as well as full 360 degree coverage.
While 270 degrees of area is not in the camera’s “eye” an array of sensors is able to detect motion that’s out of view, and rotate the camera to record before a subject enters the frame.
The dual floodlights provide up to 3,000 lumens of bright light to enhance the video and serve as a strong deterrent too.
