Uniden today announced the expansion of its portfolio with the launch of LOOOP, a range of portable Bluetooth speakers for on-the-go performance.
Drawing on its Japanese heritage, Uniden has named the four new speakers Ichi, Ni, San and Yon, the Japanese numbers for one to four. As you would expect, each step in the name signifies a step in power, performance and portability.
“Inspired by our Japanese heritage, we’ve created a speaker range that combines premium sound, portability and eye-catching lighting, giving retailers a compelling range that caters to everything from camping trips and beach days to entertaining at home,” said Brad Hales, Head of Marketing, Oceania at Uniden.
- Ichi – Number one in Japanese, the Ichi is the entry-level speaker, small and extremely portable but with a big sound. The speaker delivers up to 10 hours of playback, hands-free phone answering and built-in party lighting, all with an IPX4 splash-resistance rating, making it the go-anywhere speaker.
- Ni – Number two, the Ni is the next step up and delivers 30W of powerful audio. Its IP67 waterproof rating and floating protection make it perfect for the beach or poolside areas. The Ni also includes RGB lighting, hands-free phone answering and powerbank functionality.
- San – Number three, the San delivers even more powerful audio with up to 50W of sound and features a 10-hour battery life, IP67 waterproof protection, floating capability, and RGB lighting, making it perfect for use anywhere.
- Yon – The Yon, number four, is the flagship speaker, pumping out a massive 100W of powerful audio while still possessing a 12-hour battery life. The IP67 rating and floating capability mean that it, like its siblings above, can also be taken and used anywhere and everywhere. Its features are rounded out with dynamic party lighting and power bank functionality.
