If you own a prized 1988 Honda Prelude like our cub reviewer John then this product at IFA 2018 in Berlin is a must have.
Essentially this is a car alarm that plugs into your cigarette lighter socket. The Technaxx TX-100 has a PIR motion detection sensor and 110dB siren to ward off any unwanted attention.
Cleverly there’s also two USB charging ports so the 12V socket doesn’t go to waste. A remote control is provided to active or deactivate the alarm from up to 8 metres away.
Charging time takes three to four hours with a standby time of six days. There’s a good chance we will never see the TX-100 but you might be able hunt one down online for around 40 Euros. Personally if I was you though John, I’d stick with a Club Lock.
