The Volkswagen Group will cough up some serious dollars for the wordwide diesel emissions scandal. We have news today that class action plaintiffs in Australia will score approximately $1,400 on average for each affected vehicle.

The settlement is based on a no-admissions basis and covers five class-action lawsuits. Final proceedings should conclude by 2020.
