You don’t see a lot of these on the road, well, not as many as you would if people actually went to a few dealers and test drove more than one car. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is something new, different and well worth your consideration.
Chris Bowen described the Pajero Sport as able to “easily compete with the big boys while still being sharply priced” and that’s saying something.
The near-premium interior, paired with modern design lines make it something that not only stands out, but also doesn’t feel aged.
It’s a 7-seater and that is all important in this sector, and one of the reasons more people should give it a run to see if it works for them.
Importantly, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport can most certainly go off-road, but doesn’t feel like a Triton when you do or when you’re driving around town.
Up front Apple CarPlay makes it a sensational drive from an infotainment perspective.
An SUV is a “sports utility vehicle” by definition, and by Sports we reckon off-road and solid family capabilities. As a Utility it should then also take all your load, and at the same time be a capable family car. Try genuinely finding that in a lot of seven-seaters.
I guess what we’re saying with the Pajero Sport winning the EFTM Best SUV 2016 is, give it a try, you might be more than a little surprised!
