There are something like 2 million or more apps in the Apple iOS App Store, so when 6,000 developers attend Apple’s Keynote to launch their Worldwide Developers Conference there’s going to be some happy, and some disappointed.

You see, someone’s app has to get featured in the demo of this, or the demo of that.

This year, the hour long wait for the Keynote to commence featured huge screens showing off App Icons – setting us all on the hunt for Apps we knew.

So I went looking for Aussie apps.

Congratulations to ABC iView for Kids:

ABC iView

TenPlay

and SBS On Demand,

(See if you can spot them) – All featured on that crazy screen.

But it didn’t end there for Aussie apps.

Qantas was featured in a section about Apple News – with an article about the retirement of the 747 fleet taking featured place on stage, which interestingly was followed shortly after by a positive news alert about 747 manufacturer Boeing:)

Then Qantas again got a run during the Watch OS5 update.  Interesting times!
