Huawei has been quick to move on their latest hardware after announcing them just last month. Today Huawei has announced the FreeBuds Pro, FreeLace Pro and FreeBuds 3i are all available in Australia.
The FreeBuds Pro are the latest in their Totally Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbud range, with a new squared off stem design. Huawei has also improved the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to handle up to 40dB of ambient sound.
Huawei has also improved the touch controls, adding a pinch gesture on the stem to activate the ANC. There’s still touch controls for answering calls or controlling the audio as well.
The FreeBuds Pro are designed for comfort with an open-ear design that lets you hear what’s happening around you thanks to dual-mics. Huawei also include a set of three different sized ear tips to ensure you get that comfortable fit.
Huawei are also introducing Dual Device Connection with the FreeBuds Pro which lets you seamlessly switch between two devices. The feature will work with Macs as well as PCs running Windows and of course iOS and Android devices.
The FreeBuds Pro include 4.5 hours of use with ANC or 7 hours of use without, and you can keep your buds charged with a total of 30 hours available with the supplied battery case.
Huawei will sell the buds in Silver Frost, Carbon Black or Ceramic White for $329 from the Huawei Authorised Experience Store World Square, Chatswood, Mobileciti, Amazon and the official Huawei consumer website.
If you’re not a fan of the TWS style buds, the Huawei FreeLace Pro neckband earphones may be more up your alley.
Featuring a corded design attaching the two buds, the Huawei Freelace Pro includes 14mm ultra large High dynamic range driver for a Pro Sound Experience which features an independent bass tube and magnesium alloys diaphragm.
The FreeLace Pro also supports excellent sound quality, with 3-mic call noise cancellation with AI voice enhancement, and Active Noise Cancellation with the ability to cancel up to 40dB of ambient sound.
The Huawei FreeLace Pro features up to 24 hours battery life (without ANC), with a quick charge function able to get the earbuds up to 5 hours playback from just 5 minutes of charge.
The HUAWEI FreeLace Pro RRP for $199 and are available now in Black from Huawei Authorised Experience Stores Chatswood and World Square, Mobileciti and Ebay. You can check them out now on the Huawei Australia website.
