Following on from the announcement of their 2023 TV range arriving in Australia, LG have also announced their new soundbar range is arriving as well. 

The new LG Soundbar range includes four new models, the SC9S, SE6S, S77S and SH7Q

Models, with all four offering sound enhancing audio technologies and practical, convenient features to complete your home entertainment experience.

The range also introduces WOW Orchestra, LG’s technology for utilising all audio channels available. This means you can use the soundbar, plus the speakers in your TV for a more rounded audio experience. 

SC9S

The range is headlined by the SC9S sound bar, offering 400W of power with 3.1.3 Channel Audio which includes a wireless subwoofer. The SC9S includes support for cinematic audio including DTS:X, Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced, with triple up-firing channels. 

The SC9S includes support for LG Triple Sound AI Optimiser which boosts performance, as well as support for LG Smart Up-Mixer which offers upgraded sound by converting even two-channel audio into surround sound and feeding it to all audio channels. 

The bar supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM) and 4K Pass-through letting you easily connect additional consoles, streaming boxes, and Blu-Ray Players to a 4K TV.

Audiophiles will appreciate the support for high-resolution audio from their favourite streaming apps and the soundbar can also be integrated with Google Hoime, Amazon Alex and Siri for AirPlay2 compatibility.

SE6S

Designed for higher-end audio experiences the SE6S offers 100W of power in a 3.0 channel audio configuration and packs a punch in what LG call a ‘compact yet chic design’. The SE6S offers a modern design without a subwoofer in a packaged designed for smaller spaces or apartments. 

The SE6S supports multiple audio algorithms to enhance your sound including LG AI Sound Pro which optimises the sound for every space, automatically calibrating itself for a realistic audio experience. 

The SE6S also supports music streaming services, as well as smart home support with interconnectivity with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri for Apple AirPlay 2).

S77S

Aimed at gamers, the S77S offers a premium experience for gamers. The mid-range sound bar supports triple up-firing speakers in a dynamic 3.1.3 channel surround sound which comes with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, as well as Triple Level spatial sound. 

The S77S includes 4K pass-through support for easy console setup, and for those with next-gen consoles you get Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

SH7Q

Finally, the LG SH7Q soundbar offers a complement to any home theatre setup with clear and immersive sound thanks to the 800W of power and 5.1 channel audio that’s supported by a 200W subwoofer.

The SH7Q supports DTS Virtual: Xfor immersive, multi-dimensional surround sound and can connect to LG TVs to use Sound Mode Share, which lets the soundbar analyse content on screen to deliver clear, accurate sound.

Availability

The new LG 2023 Soundbar range is hitting Australia from today, with the SC9S SoundBar already available from retailers, or through LG.com/au for $1,499. The SE6 will arrive here in May for $799, with the S77S and SH7Q due in July for $999 and $799 respectively.
