We told you recently about the “waterproof” shirt which thanks to the nano-technology in the fabric is able deflect water from the fabric. At the same time we questioned if perhaps there was a bigger plan ahead, and today that plan went into place – a fundraising campaign to make a range of Chef Jackets and Aprons which are essentially stainproof.

Called Fabricor, the Kickstarter campaign seeks just $5,000 to get cracking and start making Chef Jackets and Aprons.

Kitchen staff will know how dirty things get, so if washing is easier that can only be good.
If you work in the hospitality industry, this Kickstarter campaign is a great way to get in on the ground floor of this cool new technology, and be one of the first to get a Chef Jacket or Apron.
For $40 you can get an Apron, for $90 a chef jacket. But you’ve gotta get in fast.
