It’s been 30 years since one of the most iconic shows on TV hit our screens – Seinfeld – and what better way to celebrate than with a cracking good LEGO set!
As part of the LEGO Ideas project one savvy Seinfeld Fan and LEGO genius has created an outstanding replication of Jerry’s apartment made from LEGO.
Lego Ideas is a community submission program, where one user submits and idea, and if they get 10,000 votes it goes to the LEGO ideas review board for approval and could then go into production.
It’s not guaranteed of course, some hurdles including rights to the intellectual property would need to be cleared, but as one of the most repeated shows on TV, you’d think Jerry and the team would be happy to take a cut of some crazy LEGO sets out in the market.
It wouldn’t be the first TV set made, there’s a “Central Perk” set coming based on the popular Friends coffee shop – so it just makes perfect sense to setup the apartment from Seinfeld too!
Here’s how it looks:
Get it to 10,000 folks! Then let’s hope LEGO makes it – after that – TAKE MY MONEY!
