I remember playing around with the Robosen Optimus Prime Transformer and thinking it was amazing how “life like” they made the truck and it’s movements. Well move all that to the side and hold back your credit cards Toy Story fans because their Buzz Lightyear display robot is something to behold.

Able to perform over 200 original sounds and actions this is a stunningly advanced human-like robot. With motors in every joint making these movements in 23 different locations there are some 50 microchips powering the 23 high-precision servo motors.

You’ll need to have a decent toy store connect here, because Buzz is pretty much sold out, and the most desirable version is limited edition, numbered and comes with extra features including a few little extra trinkets as well as a large standing display case.

Incredible details down to the smallest items

This Robosen Buzz would have to be the perfect display for a mega Toy Story collector and fan, the case lights up, Buzz himself lights up and speaks and he can be held on the stand in an elevated position allowing his actions to be “in flight” or ground based.

The best feature of all would have to be the jetpack.

It just clips onto the back of Buzz, but then when he’s performing any “in flight” action the wings deploy and if thrust is required for the action, you get lights from the thrusters and a water vapor is expelled to look like the jets are blasting – it’s a brilliant effect.
