Hands-On with the TCL 10 Series Smartphones

Just a few days ago TCL revealed three new flagship level smartphones at their global press conference here at CES in Las Vegas.

Today, EFTM got a hands-on look at these new models to see what is coming.

We expect full details including Australian pricing to be revealed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in just a couple of months, but with a $500 USD maximum price already flagged, we expect these three phones to all come into Australia at under $899, in fact, our guess would be $799 will be the top price.

There are three models. The TCL 10 Pro features a stunning silk-look back, with a curved edged front screen.

The TCL 10 5G is a larger flat-screened model with a pearl finish including a pattern shine and of course it’s 5G capable.

With what we’ve already been told about pricing globally, you can expect this to be the cheapest 5G phone on the market come it’s price announcement in March, assuming nothing else comes out before it.

TCL’s 10 L is a similar – in fact almost identical looking phone to the 5G, but with a different camera array, and a flat pearl finish.

First impressions, they look sensational. TCL is taking a genuinely premium approach to their smartphones – their prices are going to shake up the mid-range market in 2020.
