At CES 2023 in Las Vegas Alienware and Dell has today revealed six new gaming laptops along with a 500Hz gaming monitor and upgraded desktops.

Alienware laptops

The new laptops from Alienware bring new screen sizes to the Alienware range. Gone are the 15” and 17” models, replaced with 16” and 18”, joining the 14” model that was introduced last year at CES 2022.

The new, larger displays are made possible due to Alienware’s Cryo-tech thermal solution allowing a change of footprint without affecting heating negatively. The taller 16:10 displays give you a greater screen real estate to help you enjoy that game even more. Paired with Dolby Atmos speakers the displays offer a complete gaming experience.

The largest model, the m18, offers up to 9TB of storage, Cherry MX mechanical keys on a full-sized keyboard and up to 480Hz refresh rate on the FHD display and 165Hz on the QHD display.

The Alienware m18 and m16 will arrive in the US later this Summer (Winter in the US) first in high end configurations starting at US$2,899 for the m18 and US$2,599 for the m16. Keep an eye out here for local availability and pricing as it comes to hand.

Alienware 500Hz Gaming Monitor (AW2524H)

Alienware has also introduced the world’s fastest refresh rate of 500MHz on a Fast IPS Gaming Monitor, earning it a CES 2023 Innovation Award and Best of Innovation award.

The 24.5-inch FHD display has a native resolution of 480MHz but hits the 500Hz in an overclocked mode giving it an amazing motion clarity in fast-paced games. The display is not only fast but also delivers sRGB 99% colour coverage and VESA DisplayHDR 400.

The monitor includes a headset hanger, a new hexagonal base for a smaller footprint on your desk along with AlienFX RGB lighting. At this stage we do not have a price for the Alienware 500Hz Gaming Monitor (AW2524H) but it will be coming (to the US first) in Q1 of 2023 so keep an eye out for pricing in the next couple of months.

Dell gaming laptops

Dell has also introduced some of their own branded gaming laptops, designed to bring a much more affordable gaming experience. The new G15 and G16 bring a new design to the G-series laptops and include macro keys perfect for gaming, an RGB keyboard with the ability to option up to a CherryMX keyboard if required.

Both can be powered by the latest from Intel, AMD and NVIDIA and include their won Vapor Chamber Cooling and Element 31 interface to keep your machine as cool as possible while enjoying even the most intense gaming session.

The Dell G15 and G16 will both arrive in the second quarter of 2023 starting at US$850 for the G15 and US$1,499 for the G16. Keep an eye out here for local availability and pricing as it comes to hand.
